Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Services Manager to oversee and support clinical service operations for our US-based behavioral healthcare organization. The Clinical Services Manager will be responsible for supporting clinical workflows, coordinating with providers and clinical teams, monitoring service quality and operational performance, and ensuring that clinical processes are implemented effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Psychology or a related clinical discipline, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience working in a behavioral healthcare or clinical services environment.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee day-to-day clinical service operations and ensure effective coordination between clinical providers, operations, and support teams.
· Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures.
· Coordinate with psychologists, therapists, psychiatric providers, and other clinical professionals to support smooth clinical operations.
· Monitor clinical service delivery, productivity, documentation, workflow compliance, and operational performance.
· Identify operational gaps and recommend appropriate process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of clinical services.
· Support clinical onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff.
· Monitor adherence to established clinical processes, organizational policies, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
· Assist in developing and maintaining clinical service standards, guidelines, and documentation requirements.
· Review operational and clinical performance reports and provide regular updates to management.
· Support performance management and provide appropriate feedback to clinical team members in coordination with department leadership.
· Assist with provider scheduling, workflow coordination, and resolution of operational issues affecting clinical service delivery.
· Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
· Maintain appropriate confidentiality and ensure the proper handling of patient and employee information.
· Participate in meetings with US-based clinical and operational leadership as required.
· Perform other clinical service management responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in clinical services, behavioral healthcare, psychology, or healthcare operations.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical leadership, clinical management, or supervisory role.
· PhD or PsyD in Psychology/Clinical Psychology is preferred.
· Licensed psychologist or eligible for applicable professional licensure preferred, depending on the nature of the role.
· Experience working with behavioral health, mental health, psychology, or psychiatric services is strongly preferred.
· Strong understanding of clinical workflows, behavioral healthcare operations, and patient service processes.
· Previous experience managing or coordinating clinical teams and healthcare professionals.
· Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with US-based clinical and operational teams.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
· Strong knowledge of confidentiality, documentation standards, and healthcare compliance requirements.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
